This week, I'm sharing 2 Robyn clips.
She had a moderate U.S. hit in 1998 with "Show Me Love" (not to be confused with Robin S's dance floor hit of the same name)
Among the boy bands of that era, the song didn't really stand out to me. In 2005, she released an album overseas that is a classic in my eyes. It seems like all the creative, inventive pop comes from outside the U.S. (Robbie Williams, Annie, etc) If you're bored of the stuff on radio (and I can't imagine why you still listen to radio, check out some of these artists to hear how creative, exciting, and fun pop music can be.
To refresh your memory, here's 1998's "Show Me Love"
And here's "Konichiwa Bitches" (a song that contains one of my favorite lines in music history). "And in the North Pole, I'll ice you son!"
